Marc Anderson will be presenting "There’s a New Development Model in Town: What the SharePoint Framework Means for You"

Session Abstract

Yes, there’s a new model. The SharePoint Framework (SPFx) isn’t a replacement for anything you already use, though; it’s an additional way to think about developing on the platform. For years, some of us have been using client side development techniques to bring great user experiences to SharePoint. If you haven’t gotten into this game, now’s the time to start thinking about it. SPFx will arrive first in SharePoint Online, but we expect it to be available on premises via a SharePoint 2016 feature pack thereafter. In this session, Marc will give a demo of the SharePoint Framework and talk through what benefits it can bring to you and your users.
